Bienvenue au Naperville

Councilman Richard Furstenau (left) with Jeremy Marie

The people of Naperville were excited. They were expecting a very special visitor, all the way from France, Europe! Jeremy Marie was hitch hiking around the world. He was taking five whole years and stopping at some very exotic places - from Sudan to Africa, South America to Canada. So it was hardly surprising he decided to stop at Naperville too, because after all, it is the most wonderful place on the entire planet.
The good folks of Naperville Rotary Club gathered around to make Jeremy feel welcome. They put him up in their homes, took him out to dinner, invited him to speak at their meeting and asked him to hold a talk at the public library. A local sports store even presented him with a new pair of running shoes!
If that were not enough, the Mayor agreed to make him an honorary citizen of Naperville!
The Naperville Sun was so excited about the event, by mistake they sent not one, but two reporters to interview Jeremy, which is why you're reading this very special version here and not what would have been my wonderful in depth interview in the paper.
