I'm Lovetting It!

Unlike a lot of people, I really quite enjoy having my photo taken, it's just the results I don't like! This week I've taken part in two photo shoots. The first was for Naperville Fashion Week. They gave me a make-over for my Sun column. I underwent two hairdressing visits, one make-up, and a clothes session in a local clothing store. Since the last fashion shoot I did was more than 10 years ago when I'd reached my goal weight with Weight Watchers, you can see why I'm not totally happy with the end result.

This morning I had a lot more fun at the Naper Settlement. This Halloween I'm playing Mrs Lovett (own pies provided). I had some photos done for an article in another newspaper.

At my stage of life I'm much happier hiding behind a character, even one who baked people into pies. If anyone would like the recipes, the one on the left is shepherd's pie made with real shepherd, the one on the right is kosher because it's made with a little rabbi. Not sure who's in the other one, but no one's seen Grumpy for a few days....
